Jr. Phenom Results

It was a very exciting weekend of basketball August 5-8th in San Diego, CA.  The Jr. Phenom camp went down at Alliant International University, and the Tucson Magic was well represented in this 6-8th grade invite only camp. We had 7 kids participating in this camp, as well as Coach Max coaching.  In the 8th grade division we had Dakota Kordiesmon and Ben Turk.  In the 7th Grade we had David Castillo, Cameron Hodge, Eddie Krasinski, and Aaron Ayres.  From the 6th grade we had Alec McCal

Congrats to Dakota Kordiesmon for making the 8th grade All- Star team as an alternate. Dakota also was ranked as the 34th best player overall in the 8th grade out of 150 kids.  He also was ranked as the 4th best forward overall.

Also congrats to Ben Turk being rated the 15th best wing forward in the 8th grade divison. And for making the All- Sportsmanship team.

The 7th graders were ranked as follows:
David Castillo- 15th best SG
Cameron Hodge- 19th best Wing Forward
Eddie Krasinski- 8th best Power Forward
Aaron Ayres- 21st best Wing Forward

From the 6th grade:
Alec McCal- 23rd best SG

Also a special congrats to Dakota and Alec making the All-Defensive teams from there respective grades.

Congrats guys! We are so proud of you! We hope to have more Magic kids invited out for the 2011 jam.
